All raw materials in this product are listed in FDA CFR Title 21, CH1B, Part 173D, and Section 173.310 or are listed by the FDA as
GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) in food applications.
The product may be used in boilers where the steam is in direct contact with food, providing that the concentration of morpholine and cyclohexylamine
together does not exceed 10 mg/l in the steam. Milk and milk products excluded.
Application:
Normal dose rate to feedwater: As required to maintain pH - Control: pH 8.5 to 9.5 in condensate
In food plants morpholine + cyclohexylamine should be maintained at < 5ppm. This can sometimes be done by dosing 15 – 18 ppm product based on boiler make up flow.
Can be dosed directly from the drum or other suitable container. May be dosed full strength or diluted to any convenient concentration.
Recommended Usage:
ScaleAwayA259 concentrate can be used in conjunction with most other water treatment products, but should not be dosed into the same line as other products as this may lead to
blockages in the line.
