to convert to ethylenediaminetriacetic acid and then cyclize to the diketopiperizide, which accumulates in the
environment as a persistent organic pollutant. As an environmentally friendly alternative, ScaleAwayEDDS concentrate can thus be used as a
substitute for ScaleAwayEDTA in chelating applications
